We’re gearing up for one of our biggest travel seasons yet, and for the first time ever, you get to help decide where we film next. We’ve narrowed it down to three major road trip contenders, each already mostly funded. The only thing left is closing that final little gap—and whichever trip reaches its target first becomes the official RealRoads.tv 2026 journey. In other words, your support doesn’t just help us get on the road… it directly determines which road we take.
Here’s a quick look at the three routes on the table:
Pacific Northwest Mega-Loop (PNW)
This is the “bucket list” epic: Chicago → Black Hills → Yellowstone → Seattle → Rainier → Astoria → Oregon Coast → Redwoods → San Francisco → Las Vegas → Rockies → Kansas City → home. National Parks, coastlines, mountains, iconic cities, forests, and once-in-a-lifetime scenery—this route has everything. It’s the most ambitious of the three and would become one of the largest film projects we’ve ever done.
Key West and Low Country Loop
For something warmer and more laid-back, this route runs down Florida’s Gulf Coast to Key West, then back up through Miami and the Atlantic side before heading north into Savannah, Charleston, Myrtle Beach, and finally Wilmington, NC. From there, the return follows I-40 back home. Expect beaches, bridges, tropical sunsets, historic districts, and some of the most striking coastal drives in the U.S.
New England & the Northern Coast
Think classic American history meets rugged Atlantic beauty. This trip hits Boston, Philadelphia, Baltimore, Wilmington, and the New York City region (without actually driving into NYC gridlock). From there it stretches through Upstate New York, across New Hampshire and Vermont, and all the way to coastal Maine to find the most scenic lighthouse we can. A perfect mix of cities, shorelines, and mountain towns.
The main point? All three trips are ready to go. About half of each is already funded. The last little bit—the difference between “maybe” and “let’s roll”—comes from membership support and one-time contributions. However much support we can garner between now and May 15, 2026 will determine which trip is taken, and ultimately which is shown on RealRoads.tv.
We’ve always believed our road trips feel best when they’re shared, and this is your chance to shape what we explore next. Whether you’re a teenager dreaming about future travels or an adult deciding where your support goes, the idea is simple: you help choose the destination, and we’ll bring the entire journey to your screen. In addition, anyone who contributes will get their name in the credits for every video produced for that trip.
